Thank you for the comment about the kids on Better Things. Sam spent her life trying to make up for hr ex husband's lack of parental involvement and her kids were beyond self centered and annoying. But THAT HOUSE! THAT KITCHEN! THE COOKING! THE ART! Wonderful production design, set decoration, whatever the correct terminology is.
RIGHT? Absolutely. I feel like the last season ties things up nicely in that regard, with Sam's kids showing gratitude in their own ways. But gosh in some of the earlier seasons it was painful at times lol. All that being said, yes, I want to wake up in that house and the smell of Sam's cooking!
Hoping Selfie was somewhere deep on your rom com tv list and it just didn't make the cut. If not, please add to your list to watch if not just for the short lived enjoyment of seeing the trio of Karen Gillan, John Cho, and Da'Vine Joy on network television.
I never watched Selfie because I think at the time I was turned off by the show's title somehow (like oh god, that's tooo millennial buzz word). I imagine I wasn't the only one. But whew what a cast, would totally be worth tuning into at some point. Especially since it's only 1 brief season!

If only I could watch The Leftovers for the first time again...
Something shifted, truly, I was never the same...
